Breakfast was a nice selection of different kinds of onigiri and various pastries. I had trouble eating because I'm gluten free and most options had something fried and/or were bread but if you're not then breakfast is fine. The room itself was also nice. Spacious for Japan and the bathroom overhead shower was the best!! Unfortunately the bed was the worst bed I've ever slept on in my life. I'm not one to complain about bed softness because I can usually sleep anywhere in general. This felt like I was sleeping on a slab of concrete. We both woke up every morning with horribly sore backs and we're young people. If you have any sort of pre-existing back problems, save yourself pain and don't stay here. We were so happy to leave on the last day because that meant we didn't have to sleep on the bed anymore. It's a shame, because the room itself was really nice and so was the bathroom. If you're planning on walking from Sakuranomiya station like we did, it is a HIKE with all of your luggage. We noticed most people had other forms of transport when leaving the hotel and we were the only walkers that we could see at least.
