The staff were either very friendly or VERY terse and rude, and it was more often the latter. If you like shopping, it’s next to a very big outlet mall. That’s not a draw for me, so it doesn’t merit a higher rating. The futon beds were pretty flat and when asking for another futon to double up, they said no. We at least got another blanket though. Sleeping on the floor wasn’t very comfortable unfortunately. We had a great view with our room with a very big/wide window! That was very cool at least. The manga section in the lobby was neat. But the room was constantly damp feeling and kinda humid. Smelt like ocean sewer in our room haha. The towels always smelled off, not clean smelling. The bathroom had a deep tub which was nice but to get into the bathroom, there was a high step to get into there. Didn’t understand the restaurant either. They said private only? The elevator was nice to have but sounded like it was going to break down most of the time. Eventually, my father-in-law enjoyed his stay very much. It is about 15 min walk from train station.The staff were very helpful in helping me get to the hospital with the minimal English they had. Cleaning services was great even if you request to not get your room cleaned they put a basket full of the essentials for you to take inside and use. My only complaint is that the room slightly smelled it cigarettes when I walked in. But opening the window and turning the AC on helped a lot. Also sadly the beds were way too hard! I fell asleep only because I came from a 16 hour flight and and was tired but those beds are way too hard for my taste. Which is very rare in Japan! LOCATION! Property and amenities is the best I’ve experienced while visiting Japan(7 days) we stayed here for two nights! Steak house around the corner recommended by a staff was excellent! Small plate style, which was great you got to taste everything and order more of your favorite dish. Super duper cheap!!!! Only cost around $35 with amazing red wine! WOW Train station and bus stop was couple of minutes from the hotel. It is like apartment style. I do believe it was an apartment complex.
