the hotel is in a very good location and the staffs were very friendly and polite and very professional very happy with our staying we would come back in the future
Very nice hotel, and a perfect location. Super cool sky bar with a great view of the city. Two free drinks per day and lots of extras included with this place. Tons of value.
Clean room, great to have a power card to have air conditioned room all day. They changed a bit for cleaning, where you have to ask for them to change the room. We didn’t ask this trip, it was a great stay. Shower was great, pressure good. Staying at the top meant less noise. Breakfast buffet was phenomenal with all the choices.

Overall, I had a good stay at Shinsaibashi Grand Hotel Osaka.
The free drink station offering coffee, water, Fanta, and more anytime was a fantastic perk. It was so convenient to grab a drink, especially after going for a run around the nearby Osaka Castle Park grounds (which is a wonderful route for any runners visiting!).
Breakfast had a nice variety as well—highly recommended if you want a hearty meal to comfortably power you through until lunchtime. Having an 11:00 AM check-out time was also a plus. It makes the hotel an excellent budget option overall.
The downside was the room's humidity. Although a dehumidifier was provided in the unit, it still felt a bit humid at times despite having it turned on.
(Note on fees: As a heads-up to travellers, Osaka collects a local accommodation tax—around ¥200–¥500 per night—separate from the hotel itself. Unlike Tokyo, where lower nightly rates are exempt, Osaka's municipal tax applies to most stays).
Good hotel with clean & comfortable room.
Its WiFi is very fast beyond 100 Mbps. 11:00 check out time is a plus.
However, the location is just in the mid of busy "drinking" area with many bars; probably classified as XXX if it were in U.S.
Onboarding staff could’ve been a little bit more polite but the rest of the staff were very polite. Room sizes are a big adjustment compared to western style but the location makes up for this.
