Worst hostel I’ve been in Japan. It’s dirty, noisy and smelly. The beds are not fixed so it very noisy when you move. The rooms are not well ventilated and smells bad. FEMALES DO NOT GO! The price point was great but you get what you pay for. Judging purely from the photos and reviews on Hotels.com, OUTDATED PHOTOS! Got there and the B.O and stench was unfathomable as we opened the door. I'd compare this accomodation to an all teenage boys flat. Accommodation for long term expats in a very low income neighbourhood. As a female, I didn't feel comfortable/safe going to the bathroom or shower alone without my bf. 3 mins walk from the red-light district! Saw no females or foreigners in this area, only Japanese men are welcome! Booked a private twin room with a tatami mat and even the sheets were stained. Location is super far from dontonborri and no bike were available to rent.
