However later on my husband found a much better area to walk on which was beside the main street and that I felt more comfortable walking. The hotel was on a small side, reception area was small as well. I think it was supposed to be a residence condo building that they turned into a hotel. The room was a surprise, it was quite spacious and indeed looked like a condo unit indeed. Everything is neat and tidy, with a small kitchen, separate bath/shower, washing basin, and toilet. I only stayed one night but I'd definitely like to be here for 3-5 days as "base" for adventures in Kansai area. The only thing is that checking in stops at 11pm, no exceptions! That added a lot of stress on our arrival day as we were traveling from afar and they were just not accommodating (no drop/lockbox for keys, etc). Other than that.
