Four japanese style bedrooms that lock separately, two toilets and showers, a spaceous kitchen, and one big shared living area which is lovingly decorated with traditional japanese decoration and furniture. There are also toys for kids and kimono (yukata) to wear. The streets are narrow and you might get lost if you don't use a navigation map on your phone, but it's only 10 minutes from the train station. Great WiFi everywhere. Beautifully renovated old house with very warm and welcoming interior design, superb service from the owners, who came to pick us up from the train station (about 10-15 minutes walk, so quite appreciated). Stairs to second floor a bit of a pain with suitcases, but such is life in a guesthouse. WATCH YOUR HEAD, ceilings very low throughout the house, especially the doorways! Snacks and sweets, television with wide selection of DVDs, comic books etc, all very nice touches, thank you. My only semi-complaint would be the complete lack of any coffee or tea - there's a kettle, but it's all BYO.
