Interior of the building is nicely done up and maintained, while staff was also very friendly and helpful. As other reviewers have mentioned, sounds from other rooms can be heard. Light sleepers should consider bringing their own earbuds. Having taken the overnight bus, I arrived very early at 7am at the property. However, there was no staff at the time and check in at this property is only available from 1 or 2pm in the afternoon so I was also unable to leave my baggage. Place has very good location, just 5 minute walk from Namba station. It was easy to do day trips to Kyoto and Nara from here. Place is very cosy. There are only 4 rooms in this hostel. Rooms are big enough for 4 people with luggages. Beds were very comfortable. There are no big kitches as some hostels has, but you can use microwave and eat in your room. There are a lot of good eating places near by and it takes 10 minutes to walk to Todonbori from here.
