For a one room wide house, it was great for privacy. If there had been a table and chairs on the roof deck, it would have been perfect for the evenings. Although the beds were Japanese style ( mattress only, and on the floor), they were comfortable. We walked to the Osaka Castle, the Dotonbori district, and the Ceramic museum easily.
