Easy to go for long walks in the neighborhood. Neighbors we met were friendly. Orleans is central to about anything one wants to do on Cape Cod. Come with anything you need for your stay as far as soaps, etc. as none are provided aside from dish soap and hand soap. Cons (based on us seniors): bathtub way too deep, three steps up and down from kitchen to the rest of the cottage, very uneven floor. It was a good size for our family of 3 but I'm glad we didn't have more people with us. The outdoor space is lovely, and we used that a lot.
