Summary: 15537 - Starry Night: 15 min Walk to Nauset Beach! The Space: Conveniently located between three bodies of water, our home in East Orleans is a water lovers dream! Each day choose between kayaking in Orleans Cove, swimming in Mill Pond, or surfing on the best waves of Cape Cod at Nauset beach--just a 15 minute walk from the home! After a fun filled day outside, come home and relax on the cozy sectional and watch TV or head out to the sun porch and catch a few more rays. Turn on the decorative lights and cook dinner on the grill out back, or walk just a few steps inside and prepare a meal in the fully stocked Kitchen. The Kitchen features Stainless Steel Bosch and G.E. appliances, microwave, toaster and coffee maker for quick mornings on the go! After dinner, rinse off in the outdoor or indoor shower before settling in for the night. Enjoy a family moment sitting in the Adirondack chairs around the fire pit outside, or curled up around the wood stove inside on those rainy nights. Our home has three bedrooms and one full bathroom-- perfect for six adults or a family! The Master Bedroom is located at the end of the hall, on the right hand side. It has a King size bed and both a closet and bureau for storage. Across the hall is the second bedroom, with a Queen size bed, closet, and private entrance to the sunroom porch that runs along the back of the home. The last bedroom is on your left as you walk back to the main room, and has a Full size bed and bureau. Across from the final bedroom is the full bathroom, equipped with a shower and washer/dryer. All bedrooms have a Window A/C to keep you cool, even on the hottest days of summer! Other amenities include WiFi, cable TV, gas grill, dog friendly, and sheets and bath towels provided for each guest. Large screened-in deck was great. But little things add up...and house was not as clean as it should've been and some things were falling apart. Stained rugs, ripped cushions on (uncomfortable) couch, seat of a barstool coming off, shower curtain rigged to stay up with paper towels and piece of cardboard. First night there were insects in one of the bedrooms and it looks like previous guests or cleaning crew had stuck plastic bags in window to keep more from entering. Dead bugs all over front window sill. The throw rug and cushions on porch chairs were very dirty, but washable! Management refunded the cleaning fee and was very responsive, which we appreciate very much. And we had a great trip regardless. But house needs a thorough cleaning, some elbow grease, and a handyman (and new couch!) to be 4- or 5-star. ##### Gwyn D. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen is totally light and pleasant - if a luxurious large, modern bathroom/shower is your need - this is not the house for you but otherwise sweet and all accurately depicted in the pics - though I definitely think it’s worth noting for expectations that the house is set just off of Beach Road which is quite busy and it is hard to imagine sitting by the fire pit which is closest to the road - if traffic sound and trucks are something that will bother you take it into consideration - even off season, but the unobstructed view into a little calm expanse of marsh/meadow out the back porch is a great balancing force and the two minute drive to the ocean for sunrise can’t be beat! ##### Susan B. The best parts were the location and the screened-in porch which basically doubles the footprint of the house. We had a great stay due to these two main factors. The house could definitely use some updates and maybe an exterminator—there were tiny bugs getting through the kitchen window sill and onto the kitchen countertop every morning and evening.
