Apartment was on the 1st floor (middle) facing the lake and was spacious. The balcony sits in shade and it was lovely to see the ducks. Internally it was quite modern, the washing machine and dryer were great. Location wise it’s about 20-30 mins from most of the “theme parks”, so a car is a must. You also have to drive to the lazy river/pool area across the lake. For me the beds were too hard for our poor hips, the shower wasn’t very powerful, some towels were threadbare, one side of the electric sofa didn’t have a plug attached, so couldn’t be used. The electronic door lock stopped working one day so couldn’t get inside, the A/C unit was leaking water soaking the carpets, the balcony door lock didn’t work - but staff did come and resolve these issues when reported. My main downside was the upstairs neighbours and the noise - it was kids running full pelt around the rooms at all hours, then the new tenants were party party and the noise was just awful. You can hear every scrape of furniture being moved, every footstep and it really impacted our sleep. For that reason we would never stay on anything other than a top floor again.

We had a great stay; we are a family of 4 with two older teens. Our unit was clean and well stocked comfortable and modern . The washer/dryer combo was a little tricky, but we figured it fairly quickly. We did spend an afternoon at the clubhouse and it was fine. They do mot allow outside food or drink. Drink/food lines were long, and it was quite crowded, but we made do. We were about 25 minutes from universal, which was our main reason for stating. I would definitely stay again!!
