Easy walk from the train station. This is a new building with one of those room switches that turns off all power when you take your room key out of the slot. This power shutoff includes all climate control and the fridge. Fridge is an odd wall unit that will literally hold 3 bottles of beer, it is about 3 inches deep. Everything was clean and comfortable, good for the day we spent in Onomichi before starting bike ride over the islands the next day. 1 block walk from the covered market straet for food, etc. With 2 suitcases, one person has to be on a bed for the other person to move around. The staff were fun and helpful. The room was small but immaculately clean and had all the expected necessities. We enjoyed watching the boats go by from our room... nice big windows! We used a luggage forwarding service to send our bags directly from this hotel to our next hotel in Imabari while we cycled the Shimanami Kaido.
