I was hoping the management might return some of my room cost, as they no doubt relet it. Also the car parking charge. But no. Very disappointed. My husband and I had stayed at the hotel many times but unfortunately I was on my own this time as he recently passed away. I will never return." The neighbours were friendly and there is a great local restaurant/bar about a minute’s walk away and another bar about two minutes walk away. Checking in with Gail, who looks after the house was easy and she is a mine of information having lived in the area! Although parking can be tricky near the house, there is a municipal car park about 5 mins walk away ( I always use the car park when I visit Oliva). I visited in the height of summer and it was hot, I think the addition of a few more fans would be of benefit. The amenities were a little basic in some aspects but not enough not to be comfortable.
