The hotel is in a nice location and very nice medievil design. My main negative issue. Was the staff were pretty unfreindly and looked put out at having to assist you. But overall was more positives than negatives.6.5 /10
Room was spacious and clean but a little stark; main issue with our room was that it was very stuffy and we could not open the windows and had to have the air con on constantly when in the room which was not the most comfortable. My friends in a room on the top floor did have openable windows which make the room comfortable.
Surrounding area is not the nicest but only 10min walk from old town
A renovated historical building in the centre of Tallinn, within one kilometre of the historic old quarter and Kaarli …More
The hotel was well placed for the old part of Tallinn, but on a busy road. Traffic noise could be a problem at night unless you kept the window closed but then the room was too hot as the temperature was set at 25c & could not be changed (there was no air conditioning). However the staff gave us a fan which we kept on at night with the window closed! Also there were no tea/coffee making facilities. So if you're going to stay at this hotel, upgrade from the standard room to a business or superior room that have both.
"Well located and good condition hotel in Tallinn"
Pros: hotel located just outside old town walls and 10 minute walk to big shopping centres; staff is ok; breakfast was good; and despite being next to a hostel and bar it is very quiet.
Cons: breakfast in dark basement room and choices a bit limited compared to other hotels; no black tea; windows don't open in bedroom
"Typical 1920's delightfully renovated and quirky"
A warm welcome late at night on our arrival from Anna and a really pleasing room on the top floor (room 506)
A WONDERFUL old fashioned lift.
Breakfast was excellent with a large selection, far superior to other places we have stayed in Tallinn
The charming, well-preserved Old Town of Tallinn is a popular tourist destination and shopping hub. A UNESCO World Heritage site, visitors are drawn to the quaint cobblestone streets, well-maintained parks, and medieval architecture, which dates back to the 13th century. The only gothic hall in Northern Europe, Tallinn Town Hall is topped by Old Thomas, who watches over the city atop his spire.
