"Unfortunately we had a terrible stay at the Kuninga Apartments. Juha met us right on time and was very nice but the smell of the apartment made it unbearable. It is 500+ years old so a little odor is to be expected, but (maybe because of the weather as it was unusually hot) it was rank and really musty and we went into several other building as old that didn’t smell like that. "The best part was the location, a short walk from the Old Town Square. Room small, but managed well. Room small, but adequate and cheerful. Television had few channels. No CNN or BBC News. Only English channel Euro News had just a few headlines. No safe in the room, requiring carrying a key for reception area safe. Also, no refrigerator. Shower on bathroom floor with just a curtain was stifling. Staff terrific, especially Elena, but all women helpful and friendly."
