A wonderful experience with this property. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and close to the University of Oklahoma campus, which is why we were here..... to have dinner and visit with our grandson.

Great location for going to OU game! Its a little out of date and have to use stairs for 2nd floor. It was clean, but smelled a little. Would probably stay again because of location.

Check in was 4 pm, we arrived in town early and was able to check in early around 2 pm. I accidentally booked a smoking room and the staff was very accommodating and changed to non smoking. Room was nice and quiet.

OK for a weekend, but not sure I'd go back

Mixed thoughts. Friendly staff & clean room, but dated facility. Exterior entrances not secured by keycard locks that would provide added security. Interior dimmly lit & makes it feel close to abandoned. Room door often needed a couple swipes to actually open. Again, it served its purpose for a short trip back, but not jumping to go back.

Even though we were in a non-smoking room, our room reeked of cigarette smoke. When I spoke to the person at the front desk, I was told 'you have a no-refund room', and she gave me a can of Febreeze. The door to the room was messed up, and we could only get one channel on the TV. They get two stars, because the location was great, and the room was actually clean.

The exterior of this Super 8 has seen better days. Everything needs paint, the lighting in the "halls" is garish, the "atrium" has a sad and abandoned feel to it. HOWEVER, once you get into the room, the story changes. It's clean and fresh and looks attractive compared to the sketchy exterior. And the staff is friendly and attentive. Truthfully, I almost left before I got to the room. As a single traveler, I didn't feel really safe after dark. But I'm glad I stayed. And the waffle bar was good, too!

The Staff and especially the Mgr were very nice and helpful and the rooms were pretty nice. Aside from that, the hotel looked like a set from The Walking Dead and was outdated. The pool was in a dank atrium with water damaged tiles in the ceiling and chunks broken in the pool. It was probably 115 degrees in the atrium and maybe 5-8 of the 100 rooms rented on an OU game weekend. I'm just thankful I didn't take my wife as she would've refused it. I heard a rumor that the owner is closing it down in 4 months.
