Top Ohio Street Beach Hotel Reviews

Hotel Riu Plaza Chicago

8/10 Good

"Great hotel in the perfect location as everything is walking distance. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is great. Only issue i had with the stay was the rooftop bar. Thought this was going to be a great spot to overlook the city but the view was average. Service at the bar was very poor. Went there a couple times with the first time we didnt get a server to come to our table for the first 15-20 mins of being there so I had to walk up to the bar to get my own drink. The second time we sat at a table and server took our drink orders but after 20 minutes of waiting for my drink to come out i had to speak with a manager. The manager was great at that point and was very apologetic and comped our drinks. Overall this was great stay but was very expensive 4 day trip."

Congress Plaza Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Clean, comfortable, easy checkin and out. Room service dinner didnt get order correct but did refund missing items. Great location. Bathroom door creaked, heard the neighbours clearly.. no parking and closest was the lot behind hotel, $65/day, not secure at all. Would stay again if i didnt have an adjoining room and found more reassuring parking."

Hyatt Regency Chicago

10/10 Excellent

"Location is great and the rooms are as described. Can’t wait to go back."

Sonesta ES Suites Chicago Downtown Magnificent Mile - Medical

10/10 Excellent

"What a great find in downtown Chicago! This will definitely be among my go-to places to stay whenever work travel takes me back. Very convenient downtown location close to Magnificent Mile, easily walkable area, a very helpful, welcoming, courteous, and friendly staff (including front desk, breakfast, housekeeping, and every other team member I met), extremely spacious room that was clean, smartly organized, and well laid out, with good water pressure in the shower. The in-room amenities were great and included everything I needed. The breakfast was also good, and included both hot and cold options like eggs, sausage, bagels, muffins, yogurt, juice, and fresh fruit. I did not need a rental car on this trip so can't speak to the parking. But I would definitely recommend this Sonesta to others. I especially appreciated the slightly early check-in and good WiFi connectivity! Thank you for an excellent Chicago stay!"

Kasa Lake Shore Chicago

10/10 Excellent

"This was straight up the cleanest room we've ever stayed in. I kept asking my wife if she thought anyone had ever stayed in the room before - was this newly renovated? I don't know, but it was truly spotless. With the full kitchen/dining and living space, it felt a lot more comfortable than staying in a hotel. If you're traveling with kids, this set up is ideal. The bedroom doors are heavy and sealed off any chatter we'd usually hear from the teens. We also really enjoyed that the large floor to ceiling could safely open (a crank swung out the screened window about 6 inches) to let fresh air in. Overall, our favorite place we've ever stayed at in Chicago."

Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago Downtown Magnificent Mile

10/10 Excellent

"Great experience all around! Room was large, clean and comfortable. All amenities were great, with perfect location on the Miracle Mile."

The Chicago Hotel Collection Ambassador Gold Coast

10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Big rooms w/big bathrooms and a super helpful staff. The hotel bar is beautiful and is the perfect place to end your evening. Lively place to stay!"
