Maybe it’s just me, but many of the older hotels in older buildings smell like a sewer. Unfortunately our room our bathroom in particular smelled like a sewer. Beautiful property, high ceilings, helpful staff, but needs some upgrades, especially to the plumbing system.

For its price it is a great stay if you like Japanese atmosphere, which I do. Hosts were great and helped up with laundry.

Clean, quiet, good location, good breakfast with large food selection.Private parking with ample parking spaces.AC works which is a plus.Good place to choose as a base for exploring the city.
