Just at the end of the strand, there is nothing between you and the sea but a rock wall. It is a 15 minute walk to the pier. However, there was poor Wifi, the hot tub did not work, the garage parking was not available as advertised, the fire pit did not work, and worst part was no hot water. The rental company sent a tech to fix the hot tub, fire pit, and hot water early our second morning. The final morning, after agreeing to a late checkout, we had three separate cleaning crews stop by, one actually entered the house while we were eating breakfast, and though they were just doing their job it really killed an already poor stay…….. ##### Royce L. There is almost nothing between the front sliding-glass door and the ocean. It was lovely to wake up and walk out to the sound of waves and sunlight streaming into the living room. We saw dolphins playing in the surf on our last morning. The only negative was noisy neighbors (especially the upstairs neighbors) but we would absolutely stay here again. Having access to the patio with the spa and barbecue - plus being able to walk right out to the beach - outweighed the neighbors keeping us up at night. The fire pit was out of gas, but everything else worked perfectly. About a 15-minute walk to Hello Betty Fish House and the movie theater. Highly recommended! ##### Nicole B. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time in Oceanside staying in this Oceanfront rental. The home was very nice and well kept. The beds were comfortable and the furniture is clean. The kitchen is well stocked. The view is amazing! The only negative was the fact that I had booked to take our dog and paid the deposit then decided not to take him.
