"Very clean room and hallways (and surprisingly little noise from neighbouring rooms and their doors. Good bar food but very slow/absent service in evening. Ate breakfast outside of the hotel. Hot room, no air con, only one window could open and this was only March. Think it would be unpleasant in summer."

"I will stay here again, for sure. Caution: if you are looking for a "US standard hotel" (Marriott or Hilton) this is NOT it. It is kind of funky, as one might expect given the neighborhood (think Greenwich Village, NYC). The building had been a school decades ago and was remodeled into a hotel. I was concerned when I checked in, but after several days the place really grew on me and I enjoyed it immensely. Great cafe/bar and great breakfast buffet. I recommend highly, but again, this is not your normal US-style hotel."
