We had a wonderful experience. Hotel Azucena was quaint, clean, and comfortable. The staff was beyond welcoming and kind. It was close enough to walk to everything in the city while also being removed enough to be quiter and calm. We would definitely return.

I loved staying here. It was exactly like the pictures but the big surprise was how amazing and welcoming Sylvia and Freida were. One of the highlights of my trip was the morning i spent eating breakfast with them. It’s a delightful place that has everything you need including a good location, clean sheets, a helpful staff, and help with anything you need. You’re just a short walk from the Zocalo and quite frankly it’s a great value for the price. As a solo traveler, i’m quite happy i chose this place. Until next time, Sylvia and Freida!

I can’t imagine a more helpful staff. I liked this place a lot - decent location within walking distance of el centro, nice rooftop breakfasts and cheap laundry service. They need to work on their maintenance- I was constantly fixing the toilet, and the rooms are located in a courtyard that can be loud with yapping visitors at night (after 10 pm even). I was surprised the front desk didn’t do more to discourage this- people with their cell phones on speaker talking excitedly and small groups laughing loudly outside your door… I lost sleep 4 out of 6 nights there so I gave them 4 stars. It’s a modest rate so you get what you pay for I guess. Overall it was fine for me but I wouldn’t bring my wife here…

The place was well above what we expected with the rate we paid! It’s clean , staff is excellent. Our room was perfect- I just need a bed and a hot shower and that was perfect- the shower was very hot! The outside patio on second floor has amazing views! Highly recommend this place! This is a quiet, clean and friendly hotel within walking distance to the Zocalo. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. They have a lovely little terraza where you can grab a drink from the fridge (honor system) and also have breakfast in the morning. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel and would certainly stay there again.

The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. They made us feel comfortable and were definitely the best part of the hotel. The Wi-Fi in the rooms was sometimes weak and unreliable. Also, the hotel’s website listed breakfast at 54 pesos, but we were charged 120 pesos instead, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, the hotel met our expectations for the price. It wasn’t anything extraordinary, but considering the cost, it offered good value for money. The excellent staff made our stay enjoyable

The hotel is in a very convenient location, a short walk from the historic centre and all its sights. The staff were extremely helpful and the place felt very cosy. We were able to park outside the hotel on the street, which was a bonus. Thank you to the reception staff who were always cheerful and so helpful.
