Breakfast buffet was great. Location was perfect! Friendly. Clean. Just know that because of its centralize location that you will hear loud music from nearby event venues. However, I would stay here again.

Great staff and location! Central to the historic downtown. Rooms are small but well kept and clean. We were eligible for free breakfast that was delicious. Highly recommend, especially for the Day of the Dead week.

My wife and I spent six days at Hotel Abu during “Dia de Los Muertos Celebrations.” The city was very busy with thousands of people everywhere. During our visit, the hotel was fully booked. The staff never missed a beat in meeting our needs. The room was excellent, the only critique was we wished the room had more outlets to plug things in. The daily breakfast was always hot and had a good variety. The hotel services were boundless (tours, taxi service, and shuttles to the airport to name a few), the Wi-Fi was strong, and they even had a laundry service for washing your clothes. During the celebrations we found our hotel was literally walking distance from everything. The staff was always very helpful 24/7. Big thanks to Lulu who was always making sure we had everything in our room. My wife and I felt like we were at home, I hope the other hotels in Oaxaca are run like this one. God Bless.

Very convenient location. Hotel and rooms are clean, and well decorated. Staff is very friendly. Please be aware there is a bar next to hotel, which is quite noisy (you might hear noise inside your room), specially during weekends.

Overall a nice hotel but the double rooms are small. The staff is nice but very controlling about what you do. They supervise all activities very closely and are religious about when you can eat. They quoted me a price for an extra person in the room then they doubled it.

This hotel is in a convenient location in the center of the city. My room was extremely cramped with barely any room to walk around the bed and the shower was extremely tight. This might have been my room only but it was uncomfortable. I only stayed one night because my flight was delayed so I spent only a few hours there. I was also asked to process my credit card even though everything was paid for in advance. In the end they still processed what they said would be a penny even though I did not use any of the hotel services. I think it was OK just a bit strange.

Paid almost $100/night for a room too small for 2. One person had to sit on the bed to let the other person by. Very convenient location to alot of really good restaurants and walking distance to the parks. Staff was helpful, learn some spanish before you go.

Very well situated, rooms are nice and clean. The complementary breakfast was incredible, I love the chilaquiles. Besides, the owner of the hotel greeted us with free mezcal bottles every morning for me and my friends; just because he is authentically a nice person. Will stay there again when I return to Oaxaca.

I liked the location of the property. Room was small but it had everything we needed. Book early to try to get a room with an outside window. I would recommend and stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was nicely appointed, clean, and well located. The only qualms I had was they had limited ability to handle a storage need and some slight misinformation I received from the reception staff.
