This is a beautiful property in the heart of Oaxaca City. Super clean, and there is a person that comes to clean daily which feels like a hotel. The property has all the amenities you can need. There are four separate bedrooms with a shared outdoor courtyard that is loverly. A shared kitchen that has all you need and a lovely living room. It is super safe because you need key and a key card to get in the property. Everything is super close about a 10 minute walk to the center of town. Gerardo the host is not only friendly but comes to greet you and addresses any concerns immediately. We had a slight issue with one of the mini split AC in one room and he addressed it immediately. He also arranged outings and transportation for our group! Called taxis for us when we needed them. We had a great trip for Day of the Dead. I would definitely stay here again.

Can’t beat this location!

As the title suggests, the biggest advantage of Casa Sofi is its location. Pretty much anything you want to do in Oaxaca centro is in walking distance. The only time we rented taxis was for tours outside the city center. Gerardo was a very welcoming host, and his attention to detail with the amenities (coffee, a safe, etc.) was noticeable. Pros: Location, comfort (AC), safety Cons: There isn’t a full kitchen (which is ok because food is abundant and cheap nearby) I would definitely stay here again.
