I very much appreciated the coffee-ready station, too. Everything was neatly arranged and easy to find. The view was amazing and I wish we could have been there for a sunset. We were unfortunately only there for one night and had plans with family in the area so didn’t get to spend much time in the house. House is super clean and the beds are super comfy! The location is perfect, close to the town for shopping and restaurants, and 10-15 mins to the state parks! Only a short drive away from Oak Harbor and Coupeville where all the restaurants and shops are. Everything was clean, up to date, the beds and pillows were so comfortable, and the views were amazing. I can’t get over the poppies!! The house was well stocked and the garage apartment worked well for us - it not having a bathroom was zero issue. We had no friends/family in the area so we had no issues with the guest policy. The location was excellent being close to great hiking, catching a ferry, and cuddling baby goats at a local farm. The house was clean, cozy, and updated. The view from the living room/kitchen is awesome. Had a great sunset and a grey whale was parked just offshore for 2 days. The only negative is that we were told we couldn’t use the fireplace although the pictures in the listing show a fire. ##### David P. I stayed with a few friends and we enjoyed exploring the island, great central location. The bedding was great and very nice spaces inside. The place has an outdoor propane fire pit and a hot tub. They are not part of the listing, but it was disappointing to see them there and not be able to enjoy them. They appeared to need some repairs and if not going to be fixed, maybe have them removed? It wouldn’t shut off and was putting out too much heat. The thermostats are not digital. The manager sent me a you tube video on how to turn the dial. I told them I had already done that. They then responded that I needed to shut the breaker off and see if it would reset The breaker box is old and not easy to read. We were able to figure out which breaker it was and turned it off and back on again.. it still was putting out too much heat despite setting it on 50 degrees. The manager asked me to do it again. They said they would try to have someone come out and look at it. We were there 3 nights and no one looked at it. I also let them know the water in the second shower is lukewarm at best. They said they would try to get someone to look at that, as well. It never happened. I would not stay here again. If anything goes wrong, you’re on your own. ##### Bobbie B.
