Amazing location. Great communication with host. Location was quiet with towns close by with everything you need. Lots to do - we went paddle boarding, walked on the beach, played games outside and relaxed in the hot tub.
Lovely house right near the water with so many great amenities from the yoga mats, games, toys and recreational equipment to the well stocked kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. Perfect amount of space for our party of 11 ranging from tweens to grandparents and the dogs were so happy to have space to explore and run around too. The beds and hot tub were a bit tricky to get in and out of for my older sister and parents since they were a bit high so perhaps step stools would be helpful. The host was super responsive to all my messages, had a very nice welcome basket of goodies waiting for us and even took the extra effort to return some clothing that was accidentally left behind, which was greatly appreciated!
We had a wonderful day and very much enjoyed this beautiful home! The home has everything that one could ask for, clean, comfortable accommodations, a generously sized sparkling clean Jacuzzi, a beautiful and quiet beachfront for evening campfires and room for pet guests to enjoy themselves. We very much appreciated all of the personal design touches that the owners curated, that so many rental homes lack; well done!! We highly recommend!!
We had a wonderful time, thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished it could have been for a longer period. The rental was so nice and comfortable for our large (9) group. Well equipped with necessities and clear instructions on how to care for the cabin while there and what to do upon leaving. Very clean and amazing view! Great access to the beach. We’d like to return next summer!
Our family of four hopped out to Salt & Soul House to wrap up our summer. It exceeded our expectations and we are ready to return already!! Location, accommodations, EVERYTHING makes for a memorable and amazing visit!! Highly recommend…our day trips are also listed in the guest book…whale watching, Seattle, alpaca and lavender farms, and sea kayaking await!
Large house on a hill with a fabulous east view of the Sound, very private. Like most rentals, the house has some quirky spaces, but we enjoyed staying there. Good walking beach when the tide is low.
We had a great family reunion at this lovely home. The decks, large yard, and lowbank beachfront give you lots of space to roam. The 5 bedrooms and 4 common spaces make it easy for everyone to find their own space for fun or quiet times. The kitchen is super well equipped for cooking projects. All the decor is modern and tasteful. Highly recommend.
Elisabeth’s place at Greenbank was fantastic! We had a great family gathering with family members ranging in age from 2 years old to 70+!
The yard is huge and the beachfront is serene and quiet. The whole yard and area feels secluded. The house has everything you need to stay entertained even if the weather isn’t great and there’s tons of room for everybody to run around!
Our group of three families really enjoyed our stay for many reasons; the location directly on a quiet beach, thoughtfully equipped rooms to gather together to eat, play games, stretch/exercise, relax and reconnect. All the rooms had comfortable beds & luxurious bedding so we all slept well. The views from the hot tub were a big bonus and everyday there was wildlife to see. Thank you to our hosts providing excellent information about the home itself, the surrounding area, places to eat, see and do. Highly recommended!!
Thank you Elisabeth for opening up your lovely home for my weekend away with friends. The house was gorgeous, clean, and well stocked. We found the layout of the house great for lounging, cooking and eating together as a group, and hanging out down at the fire pit was a highlight. The beach was perfect for long walks exploring the shoreline. My whole group loved the house and will definitely be back again when we can!
We loved the house and hope to return next year. The three separate gathering spaces on the main floor were perfect for having a puzzle and multiple games going at the same time. The kitchen was simply stocked with quality dishes. Beach access was easy and the beach itself was interesting and quiet, except for all the eagles. Beds were all comfortable and bedding was quality. I also loved how well signed everything was without being tacky.
This was a five day celebration for my 80th birthday, and included all my children and grandchildren and a couple of long-time friends. The house was beautiful, and everything was well-appointed. I took the downstairs bedroom, which has a great sunrise view.
Our stay was wonderful! The house is even nicer in person than the photos show. Everything was clean, well-organized, and abundantly stocked. Elisabeth was easy to communicate with and always responded promptly. Only thing to be wary of could be the level changes between some of the rooms if you have little ones. That didn’t occur to us when booking but could be problematic if you have an adventurous crawler.
From the moment we set foot on this charming property we were captivated by the sweeping views (including Mt. Ranier on a clear day) and beautiful interior.
From the spacious and comfortable accommodations to the luxurious linens to the exceptionally curated decor, this property checked all the boxes for our extended family get-together.
Even more beautiful than the photos, this property was exactly as promised and fit our needs in every way.
The hosts were welcoming but not intrusive, and eager to ensure our stay was exceptional.
10 out of 10 we recommend this property, and 10 out of 10 we will return again!
Absolutely beautiful home, right on the water! Our host thought of everything! The home has 3 living rooms, plus a large meditation/ yoga room with a fireplace. Yoga mats are there too!
I can’t say enough about the kitchen, it’s equipped with everything you could possibly need.
We enjoyed many walks on the beach, the awesome sunrise, coffee on the deck, hot tub, the setting is perfect!
It’s very quiet, with nature all around. We went shopping in Coupville and Langley, great shops!
My only complaint is that our stay was too short, next time we will stay longer!
Loved this stay! Incredibly beautiful, peaceful home and as it says in the name - soulful. Comfort and cozy is in every detail and the view is breathtaking. Perfect place for any sized group and if you’re looking for a chance to view wildlife, migrating birds, rainbows, sunrises and sunsets you’ve found your destinations. We got them all! Our host was fantastic as well - spot on with her reccomendations and responded immediately. She left us lovely snacks to nibble on and the house is stocked like a real home. We plan to book her house again next year for our work retreat and our book club/yoga getaways! So glad we found this gem!
Elisabeth and Rian were the perfect hosts! They were super responsive anytime we had questions and made the whole process really easy.
The property is tucked in a super quiet area in the north part of the Island. We got to see lots of wildlife and enjoy incredible views from the expansive decks, and spend lots of time on the beach.
The house has very comfortable beds and ample towels both for the house and for the beach. There was a boathouse with some paddle boards and kites. Although it is technically "beachfront" there is a bit of a steep hill to climb (no steps) to get to and from the beach but we had age ranges between 2yrs old and 78yrs old and nobody had trouble. There is a road right next to the house for community members to use their boats, so someone with mobility issues might choose to take that route to get to the beach instead of the grass hill.
The house does have some steps in the entrance and for the dark room which is kind of like a sunken living room, so just note that if you have toddlers you might need to bring a baby gate or watch them very closely.
The upstairs does get very warm on sunny days but the downstairs stayed nice and cool the whole time. It had ample space for our group with 3 rooms with queen beds, one king bed in the master, and a room with a double bunk as well as 3.5 baths.
Overall this is an excellent property to stay at for small or large groups alike and we would love to come back to visit!
Beautiful view of Camano Island from the deck and great beach combing! We spent Thanksgiving weekend and had fun exploring the island. The only negative was poor water pressure - well water wasn't enough for showers for 11 people.
