"This property was an absolute disaster. It was old and shabby in the extreme. We had to leave immediately upon arrival as there was an awful smell inside. I discovered the source of the smell in a kitchen bin which had not been emptied. It contained a rotting dog bone and meat offcuts covered in maggots. "This is an honest property! It has everything there we need for a comfortable stay. it is easy to check in with clear instructions so we could arrive in the evening when we wanted. The host answered queries within minutes. it is close to shops and a coffee house and easy parking on the street. It is quiet and comfortable. We have stayed there before when we visit Canberra and will stay again"

"Right in town and incredibly comfortable and quiet. The room is big so it was great having the fireplace and later the reverse cycle, so a nice option in winter. Gunderoo is definitely small but it’s an excellent option if you want to stay out of Canberra for the night and the food options are great."
