"My wife and I stay in hotels around Uzbekistan around the 50 dollar price point. This honestly was the best hotel we have stayed in for that cost. The AC works well to cool the room, the beds are clean, the bathroom is large with hot water that stays a constant temperature. The staff is very kind and helpful and the views are incredible from the rooftop. There are plenty of tables and space to grab your favorite drink and watch the sunset."

"The hotel is located within the walls on Ichan Kala. It now quite dated and would benefit from a upgrade. Bathrooms clean but very dated. Shower about to fall off the wall. Overall not bad value for money but a largely uninspiring stay. There are many much better options in the vicinity. I suggest you look for them."

"We had an amazing few days in a beautiful location. The guest house and room were lovely and very spacious. The hostess was so friendly and accommodating - we arrived very early and they did their best to let us check in to our room as early as possible. They helped us book a guided tour of the city, which was definitely a highlight for us! We would recommend this stay wholeheartedly - cannot fault it! "

"Though I checked in late at night, I was surprised to see the south gate so close to my window in the following morning. Due to lack of English signs in general in Khiva, I still got lost to some extent. But the clear location of this hotel somehow helped me go back to the hotel after the tour. "

"It was an excellent & fairly conveniently located hotel for exploring the old city. It's a bit of a long walk, but a quick & cheap taxi ride. The staff was also very kind & helpful, though clearly inexperienced with dealing with online reservations so the check-in process did take a bit of time. Also the room wasn't the cleanest.
