the employees were absolut amazing, the food was fine, the pool area really relaxing - and we have never slept in such hotel "rooms"... basically a whole house - we loved it !! if we go back, we would definitely book here again.

It is such a nice hotel, with beautiful facilities and super kind staff. Both breakfast and dinner buffet offer western and local food with sufficient variety. Staff is most welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Recommended and very nice accomodation, clean and safe, good meals and well embedded in nature. Friendly staff. Beautifully located - I had a sea view bungalow! Just the sea water on the hotel beach was not so nice than further away from the coast.

A Gem! Great, clean facilities; good amenities. Helpful staff coordinated airport transfers, an excursion to Lokobe, and scuba for us. Breakfast and dinner buffets were good quality and selection. Overall, we loved it! Note for excursions, it is a separate company embedded in the hotel so that is paid separate from your hotel folio.

Such a nice resort. Very good food. They change the menu everyday, so you won’t be disappointed. They had live music every second day. Big bungalows. Extremely nice staff. Everything is very clean. And a stunning sunset!! There isn’t much beach there. But you won’t miss it. A lot value for money

We had an amazing 7 days holiday at the Ravintsara hotel. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. We had a nice and spacious bungalow. The food was also nice and we had a huge choice from the buffet every morning and evening. The garden of the hotel was also beautiful with lots of greens and a shiny clean pool with coconut palms around. The only minus is the beach of the hotel. It is not really nice because of the seagrass that constantly comes out with the waves. However for us it was not that important. :)

Best hotel in Nosy Be

Booked a seafront bungalow at this resort for only 1 night as they were booked. This place really exceeded my expectations on all levels. Having just come from Mauritius staying in the hilton and lux hotel this place made those hotels feel inferior. Ravintsara resort is located on the best part of ambaro beach. The rooms are huge, comfortablr and clean. The beds are very comfortable and good WiFi is available throughout the resort. Last but not least the restaurant was fantastic for both breakfast and dinner. Dinner was so good that even though we are not staying in the resort for the few days we have left we have decided to eat there daily. This place is definitely the best resort in Nosy Be. Don't look elsewhere as you will be disappointed. Keep up the great work

After flying from Antananarivo and the long drive in the dark across Nosy Be, we were greeted with fresh coconut water in the coconut. Perfect. I had chosen to pay a little extra for an ocean view cabin (#8 I think). Absolutely worthwhile. We could hear the ocean and had private lounge chairs and a stunning view of sunsets. The room was fabulous. The downsides were that breakfast wasn't always ready when we needed it. Juice and yogurt were overly sweetened. Pastries and bread weren't always fresh. But the big issue was that the ONLY CHOICE for dinner was a massive buffet. My daughter is vegetarian and there was not much on the buffet for her. I didn't have much appetite and didn't want a buffet. I wanted something light. Not an option. So we ate nothing. The bar had some good drinks, especially the ginger one.

Good place - but out of the way

The hotel is very nice and comfortable. However, it is located a bit away from the main part of town and requires a 20-30 minute taxi ride into town if you want to go to the shops, restaurants or bars in town. It's fine if you don't mind that extra step, or if you just want a very quiet stay - but if you want to have more options for restaurants and nightlife, this isn't the best spot. Also, the beach is nice enough, but certainly not the best on Nosy Be.

Un séjour gùché malgré un hÎtel trÚs beau

Un bel hĂŽtel dans une vĂ©ritable jungle avec des bungalows spacieux et trĂšs beaux. Une piscine qui n’apporte rien, bien trop froide et un tout petit bout de plage qui n’est accessible que trĂšs peu de temps avec la marĂ©e. Et un voyage complĂštement gĂąchĂ© par l’incompĂ©tence et le manque de considĂ©ration, de respect de la part de la plupart du personnel de l’hĂŽtel notamment au restaurant. Un manque de communication dans tout l’hĂŽtel, pourtant trĂšs habile quand il s’agit de trouver en quelques secondes oĂč l’on se situe dans l’immense hĂŽtel, ou de nous suivre. Un dĂ©sĂ©quilibre de traitement entre la clientĂšle italienne (privilĂ©giĂ©e), française et malgache qui n’est absolument pas entendable mais qu’on a du supporter durant plusieurs jours. Deux dĂ©lestages au total de 12 heures, beaucoup trop de moustiques, et une tĂ©lĂ© des annĂ©es 90. Un buffet imposĂ© tous les soirs hors de prix et vraiment pas bon. Un petit dĂ©jeuner trĂšs moyen notamment sur la partie salĂ©e. Des gestes ont Ă©tĂ© cependant fait mais qui n’ont pas suffit Ă  rendre notre voyage meilleur. Un grand merci tout de mĂȘme Ă  Dimbiniaina, sa mĂšre (je ne me souviens plus de son prĂ©nom), Natia et, le responsable du restaurant qui semble avoir du endosser tous les problĂšmes que nous avons rencontrĂ©s Ă  l’hĂŽtel. PrivilĂ©giez le Vanila qui est plus haut de gamme, avec des panneaux solaires et dont la plage est grande, avec une piscine vraiment trĂšs belle.

La perfection !

Nous avons réservé un bungalow vue mer, il était exceptionnel, magnifique, propre et ultra classe ! Il y avait tous les équipements nécessaires pour séjourner dans le confort. Le personnel est au top ! Hyper accueillant et sympathique. Nous recommandons vivement, réservez les yeux fermés vous ne serez pas déçus ;) C'était notre derniÚre nuit à Nosybe, une cerise sur le gùteau !

Dejlig stor luksus hytte men desvÊrre ikke helt varmt vand . Oplevede lidt manglende vandforsyning pÄ en ud af 5 dage. Aircon helt ok. Efter landets kvalitet var sengen i den bedste halvdel kvalitets mÊssigt Havde dejlig have samt ren pool. Stranden er intet vÊrd. Halvpension var super fin. Een prachtig resort met enorme en mooie kamers. Een mooi zwembad en lekkere ligbedjes aan zee. Verder is ook een bezoekje aan de spa voor bijvoorbeeld een massage een aanrader!! Enige minpunt: het eten is niet geweldig. Geen bijzondere menukaart en de smaak is soms een beetje saai.

Tres bel hotel,bien placĂ© avec un magnifique jardin tropical oĂč sont nichĂ©es d'immenses "huttes" dans lesquelles tout le confort pour accueillir les rĂ©sidents. Ett vÀldigt fint hotell

Ett otroligt fint hotell, ett stort omrÄde och flera rum men det kÀndes ÀndÄ som att man hade nÀra till allt och inte gick pÄ de andra som bodde hÀr. God mat, bÄde frukost och middags buffén Àndrades för varje dag. NÀstan varje kvÀll hade underhÄllning. TyvÀrr var det vÀldigt svÄrt att kommunicera dÄ de flesta talade franska. NÀstan ingen kunde bra engelska. Försökte boka bÄde yoga och massage i spat dÄ jag fick information om att de skulle ha yoga dagligen men ÀndÄ sÄ hade de det inte. Fick inte heller nÄgon tid för massage trots att spat var tomt, dock kom jag dit med kort framförhÄllning. Min man blev magsjuk efter att ha Àtit buffén en av kvÀllarna, jag klarade mig sÄ vi vet inte exakt vad han blev dÄlig av. Det Àr mycket prostitution i Nosy be och tyvÀrr sÄg vi detta Àven pÄ hotellet, man kan önska att de hade tagit stÀllning mot det. Hotellet kÀndes i övrigt tryggt och de var vÀnliga och uppmÀrksammade vÄr smekmÄnad.

Det er sjelden man mÞter pÄ ansatte som genuint Þnsker at man skal trives og ha det optimalt. Det gjÞr man her. Ansatte gÄr gjerne en ekstra mil for deg, selv om det gÄr utover egen fritid. Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold! Maten var fint presentert, men manglet krydder etter vÄr smak. SPA avdelingen kunne sine saker. Her er det lite Ä trekke for, men mye Ä glede seg over

Merci à toute l'équipe pour sa gentillesse exemplaire, ses attentions et son professionnalisme. Toujours attentif à vous donner satisfaction et répondre à vos attentes. Le restaurant et petit déjeuner sont de qualité. Les bungalows sont trÚs beaux et spacieux dans un jardin tropical luxuriant. Lieu calme et apaisant avec une trÚs belle piscine Le cadre est magnifique cependant notez qu'il n'est pas toujours aisé de se baigner en mer selon la marée mais le coucher de soleil est bien là ! Privilégier les sorties vers les iles alentours qui sont paradisiaques
