Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town

Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town

8/10 Good
"I really wanted to like this hotel, but it was just an okay experience all around. It definitely seemed run down, and there were odors in the carpeted hallways and in our room near the AC unit (mold?). The hot water in the shower wasn't always there so we had a couple of cold washes. The phone in the room didn't work. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant was really disappointing (I didn't know one could ruin oatmeal, but they did). The bright spot was using the amenities next door at Hotel Chaco, like their rooftop restaurant and spa. The shared pool was also very nice. I recommend you pay the extra money and stay at Chaco, which is a sister property. It is worth it!"

"Very pretty place - room was very nice. The mattress was pretty rough - very lumpy - not comfortable. The pillows were great. Loved all the shampoo n lotion in bathroom. Other than the luggage / valet person (who was very friendly and helpful) the staff was not that pleasant. Chose this place as soo close to the opera but the next adventure will try another place as there are so many choices in the surrounding area and many of them also include breakfast. "

"Excellent pool and pool staff. Demitri was so excellent at the pool. He shared some local beta and had great recommendations. Thank you Demitri! We had a shared balcony of which I was usually the only one using it. Zazen and tai chi every morning - this was the perfect environment for that type of quiet. Highly recommend this property!!"

The Clyde Hotel

The Clyde Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"For the price and being a Heritage Hotel this is the best hotel in downtown Albuquerque. The staff are extremely cordial and helpful from check-in until departure. The rooms are clean and have all the amenities. The beds are very comfortable with nice clean pillows. The bathrooms are spacious with plenty of towels and toiletries. These are great rooms to relax in. There’s a pool and gym. A restaurant open for breakfast and lunch and a lounge with a dinner menu open at 4pm. Also, a coffee shop and convenient store. I will be definitely staying here again the next time I’m in Albuquerque."
