"We came to relax not gamble. Only to be told at check in that the pool and hot tubs were closed due to some mechanical issue. Spent almost our entire stay in our room. Hotel was practically empty but gave us a room on 2nd floor with no view. Room was clean but carpet very worn. Bed was horribly uncomfortable. "

"Room air conditioner on the 11th floor wouldnt go down below 77° I called front desk and they said it works on motion which definitely was not the case and just a cop out. Paid $200 for a Hot Stuffy room "

"Property was pet friendly. The breakfast needs improvement. Not many choices. The key to our door stop working (wouldn’t lock). Very nosy guests continuously in and out of their room in hallway making noise. I’m sorry I wouldn’t stay there again."

"The staff was awesome. When we had a problem with the air conditioner, they changed our room with no problem. We've stayed there 4 times now, and will continue to do so when visiting Shipshewana."

"The room was nice and clean and fresh smelling. The tub was clean-ish. I would never have bathed in that tub, but standing to shower would be okay. The flusher on the toilet was about to fall off and was difficult to flush. The large blackout screen wouldn't go up so we missed some of the view. The pool was small but adequate. No hot tub, though 😕 There was complimentary coffee, tea and hot cocoa around the clock. Breakfast was very nice. Lots of options, both hot and cold. Do it yourself pancakes, scrambled eggs & sausage links for hot options. Cold cereal and milk, bread you can toast or not, some kind of Danish looking thing, fresh fruit and apple and orange juice. The also had flavored yogurt and oatmeal packets you could dispense hot water on and make yourself. All in all, a pleasant stay."

"Trendy boutique hotels don’t cut it for me. Very little storage, smallish room, mediocre towels. No free coffee. Suggested parking garage has no elevator. Not worth the price"

"Smaller room but clean enough for a crash and dash. Breakfast looked forgettable as they all are when trough style. Just sayin’."
