"Absolutely wonderful time here. You are basically right in lake Myvatn and the rooms are basically in the lava fields of the area. We got to pet the baby and adult cows and ate
breakfast while they were being milked which was amazing. The dinner and the
breakfast buffet were both delicious. The room itself was very nice (but very hot) and the bed was good. Everyone who worked here was really lovely. "

"We were originally booked in another hotel but were upgraded to this one due to the virus scare. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. The room was a little bit small but had a good shower. Again, the staff were great from the front desk to the wait staff in the restaurant to the bar tender. "

"The place was a bit rustic, but we enjoyed our stay. The attached restaurant was good and served a simple but nice
breakfast. The hot water in the bathroom gave off a sulfur odor due to - I think - geothermal heating. Overall, though, I would not hesitate to stay here again."
