The hotel was clean and the staff was exceptionally friendly. We utilized the Tavern bar, the Spa, and the pool area. We had excellent massages and followed up with extra time in the steam room and outdoor hot tub. We also spent time wandering through the property and the gardens. All in all, it was so relaxing!
The only negative I would say is that when we entered the main building we noticed a musty smell in the hallways. Not sure if it is older rugs or the woodwork but would have appreciated a fresher cleaner smell.
