We ventured into Kansas City (only a few minutes away) and were impressed with the ease of getting around with this home as our base. We were visiting our daughter and her Kansas family, and had them over for Christmas dinner (arranged ahead of time). They all raved about how nice the house is, and how beautifully it is set...

"We really enjoyed our stay for the most part. I did call the front office on night 1 because the air conditioner was soooo loud, we couldn’t sleep. I called the office and they said they would call back in a few minutes after talking to maintenance. The call never came and it was 9:30 with young kiddos so we decide to turn the air off so be could sleep. "Shower was slow to drain but the staff responded quickly after I mentioned it. The room had an oilyAsian/Indian/ food smell to it; as if someone had cooked in the room previously. Very nice workout facility. Breakfast was the usual; nothing remarkable other than the coffee. "

"It was a beautiful room. My shower head was leaking but no big deal. My bedding on One of the beds had a substantially large stain on it. Otherwise the room was clean, i love sitting on the balcony. It was an overall good stay. "

"Embassy Suites is known for quality. The 2-room suite was clean and very comfortable. The atrium is tasteful with immense water features. We stayed during a period of severe t-storms and tornado watches, and felt very safe. Barely heard the thunder. The only thing of note was that the bar and grill was understaffed. The staff working was super hard working and trying their best. The servers were moving non-stop (shout out to our server Brenda who was excellent and kind). That said, the food...
