Amazing placement for convenience and functions. Loud at night, but expected for location. Super clean & comfortable beds. Beautiful but not overly fancy, still unique for the age. Cost is much steeper than other hotels - but again location is key. Parking is not free, but onsite parking available. Overall great stay.

Though the hotel was really very nice, for the cost of the room, there were also extra expenses that should have been included in the stay package, in my opinion. There are charges for parking and breakfast. Otherwise it was 5-Star!

Not worth the price. Rooms were clean, but hotel has wear and tear. Shower had awful water pressure. DO NOT PAY for the breakfast.

Front office staff was amazing. Kind and generous. The bar staff wouldn’t even come take our order. When we stopped in for breakfast the lady attending to it was kind and brought out what we needed but was eating at the counter as well. I just found this awkward. I would stay again because of the rooms, location and the kind people up front. Thank you.

I decided to stay here because both on Expedia and the hotel's website said it was "Excellent." I paid more for my stay than other hotel's I the area because I wanted a nice, clean place to stay 4 nights. Items in the room that needed fixing/cleaning: -Paint on bathroom floor -Tile missing in bathroom -Dirt stains on ceiling out of vent -Curtain wands not attracted -Carpet in the room needed to be thoroughly vacuumed -Item left from previous people's stay -Carpet in the hallway needed a good vacuuming For the amount we were charged for each night, we felt the room should have been in a better state. Some good qualities of our stay: -Staff was friendly -Bed was clean & comfortable We chose the Bluemont because of how it was portrayed on the hotel's website, but not sure we'd stay again unless this experience was a fluke. The young man at the front desk encouraged me to tell the manager, I emailed her and didn't get a reply.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I would say that I had a window by the road and college kids like loud cars....so that was annoying late at night. This sounds dumb, but I do wish the toilet paper was better quality. For the price of the room I would expect better toilet paper...not the cheapest available. Otherwise my stay was great. Room is clean, easy to get to. The location was great. Staff is friendly. I would stay here again.
