Mixed views of this hotel. Location, staff friendliness and rooms all very good, BUT the bar and dining facility were not open throughout our stay (and not part of info on hotels.com website). On top of which the balcony was closed and with no furniture on the patio, there was no opportunity to sit outside and enjoy the view over the river nor have a relaxing sundowner.

After arriving check in was quick by friendly staff , the rooms were very nice and clean. The breakfast in the morning was great a wide variety of choice . Our purpose was for a University visit which was close by.

Great location, beautiful old building with history, rooms with character and lots of space. Gowns provided for spa use. Pool towels provided. Great pool, water was nice and cool and not heavily chlorinated. Hot tub was hot! Bar had a bit of a vibe in it (there were people there!). Friendly bar staff (Chris and Reilly). Lots of free parking out front and behind. Generally a fab place to stay.
