I did have a problem with the kettle. Unless you held the button down until it started to heat it would click off again. I did have to ask for more teabags one day as housekeeping had not restocked.
Otherwise it was a nice hotel not too far to walk to Barrack Street for my tour pick-ups - about 15 minutes. All in all a very nice hotel.

This was the last two nights of our holiday in Australia so wanted to stay somewhere decent. This is different from your usual hotel but not too dissimilar from another Perth hotel we stayed at so perhaps there is a trend there towards these sort of places. It is modern and the rooms are quite small but good bed and a great shower. The staff were very obliging considering we arrived early due to our flight time and we were hoping to drop our bags off but they managed to let us in our room early...

The room was spacious and had a fridge, kettle, tea/coffee and bottled water. There was a fridge in a communal area with free bottled water. The staff were very helpful when the keycards stopped working. You also get 10% discount on food downstairs in the bar. Very noisy though and even with earplugs in I could hear the music. It went on til 11pm some nights - which wasn't ideal when we had early starts for day trips, and started at 7am some mornings.

We are a family of 4 (two adults and two children) who stayed in a double double room (two double beds) for two nights after arriving in the middle of the night from Singapore.
Night staff were on duty when we arrived, they let us in because it was after midnight, so it felt very safe. They checked us in quickly, which was helpful as we were very tired.
The hotel has a gym and swimming pool and both are family friendly. We used both and were impressed with the cleanliness. The free wi-fi...

Great location, very friendly staff and comfortable room! Was back in Perth for 2 weeks holiday and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Will definitely recommend to visitors, especially if you want to be close to the city and river.
