"Quick walk into the city + lots of dining options"
I stayed in a studio apartment at the 188 Newcastle Street Northbridge location for a 1week while on business.
Location: I was a bit worried about reading some reviews regarding changing locations (Verandah Apartments has about 7 different locations around Perth), however, hotel staff were very responsive in texts/emails/calls as I touched down in the airport ($46 taxi ride). Apartment is about 500m or 7min walk into Perth CBD. So many cool cafes and restaurants nearby, predominantly Asian cuisine. I recommend Eillo for coffee and toastie, drinks at the Brass Monkey, and $9.50 lunch special at Ping Pang Pong.
Room: The room was VERY spacious; large bathroom (including washer and dryer), kitchen (with gas top stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave along with utencils/potts etc.), double bed, couch, tv, large balcony, and air con. The only negative comment I have to mention is the smell once walking in every time I entered the apartment - might have been the residual cooking smells from the previous stay/s. However, once walking past the corridor, the smell was hardly noticeable.
