Didn't get to check in as they had a problem with the room, so they booked us at the Hilton. It all worked out well as the Hilton was great and at no extra cost.

Advertised as “recently renovated”, the hallways were yet to be transformed and the warped carpet and dirty wallpaper scratched and torn were gross. How could they actually have waited this long to finally deem renovation necessary? The room was fine; recently painted with an accent wall of fresh wallpaper, the bathroom vanity top was new, as was the rainhead shower fixture awkwardly descending from a drop ceiling. That was the entire extent of their renovations as the furniture was old, there is no closet, just a rack attached to the wall, and the mattresses were terrible, and much like the hallway, needed replacing a long time ago. During a rainstorm, a few ceiling tiles in the hallway were removed to expose a moldy and dirty plastic liner dripping water on the hallway carpet while a floor fan blew in the wet carpet’s direction. “Breakfast included” consisted of an English muffin breakfast sandwich, cereal and some sliced bread for toast.. The staff was friendly and efficient. Parking was easy and plentiful.

This hotel was used to host people from the wild fires and the people from a First Nation reserve that had no drinking water. We were relocated to the Hilton, across the street, a much fancier hotel and were very happy with this last one.
