Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Our problems began at check-in. The instructions provided a keypad code that did not work. We spent approximately 35 minutes trying to access the condo before discovering a key hidden under the doormat. This key location was never included in the check-in instructions, causing unnecessary stress and delaying the start of our vacation.When we attempted to get help, the contact information provided was not useful. The first phone number was disconnected, the email address did not work, and although we were eventually given the owner's phone number, we did not receive any response until the following morning. We were left without assistance when we needed it most.Once inside the condo, we found several serious cleanliness and safety issues. There was broken glass scattered on the patio, creating a dangerous hazard. My grandson stepped on the glass and cut his foot. We also found clothing left in the closet from a previous guest, indicating the condo had not been properly prepared for our arrival. In addition, there was what appeared to be feces on the bathroom wall, an unacceptable and unsanitary condition.The combination of the failed check-in process, the lack of responsive customer support, the unsafe conditions that resulted in my grandson's injury, and the poor cleanliness significantly impacted our vacation. Trying to get ahold of host now is not possible either. The rental company keeps ignoring messages.
