This unit has several issues, including a broken bed, lack of cleanliness and poor wifi. There is no king bed, rather there are 2 twins pushed together with 1 being very hard and the other being lopsided with worn out springs. The rental is managed by NMB rentals and their response was to provide a Walmart foam topper. The windows are large in the main bedroom and the sheer drapes do not block out the light. Our request for blackout drapes was refused. The beds in the second bedroom are old and hard. The unit was quite dirty when we checked in with food, hair and dead bugs all over the floors. The table had food stains and had to be scrubbed several times. No cleaning supplies are provided except for an old clogged vacuum, which we had to take apart and clean before using for our 3-week stay. The smoke alarms malfunctioned on a Sunday afternoon and all went off at the same time. We called for assistance and were told their maintenance staff do not work on weekends so they would send someone the next day, which never happened. The unit needs a paint job from top to bottom. The kitchen and bathrooms are dated but functional. The pictures are inaccurate and show plush carpets that have been replaced with dark grey vinyl (plastic) floors. Linens/bedding provided are a low grade polyester and no beach/pool towels are included so you need to bring your own. On the positive side, the complex pool is nice with beautiful gardens on the property and a beach shuttle.
