"We have stayed at the Sugar Beach Resort before, and we have been to Maui and Kauai multiple times. The SBR is a very solid choice in a very good, central location. Everyone who works there works hard and they are friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this property, especially for a stay of 7 days or longer because you are so central you are able to visit the whole island and the attractions with relative ease, which can’t be said for some of the other resorts in the NW of the island."

"Stayed here for 6 days in a 2 bedroom suite. Room was clean and furnished nicely with access to full kitchen and stove. Also had in unit washer dryer. Housekeeping staff did daily turndown and cleaning and were very helpful and friendly. Property well maintained and hotel staff were very hospitable. Only downside of this resort was that amenities were limited. They had a grab and go store but was very limited with snack and drink selection. Would have loved to have some type of small grocery store on property or within walking distance of resort. Shopping and dining options also close but still had to drive and leave resort for this. Resorts in Wailea had better access to Shops at Wailea. Overall good experience, but hoping that the property will expand more for the guest experience. Poke bar onsite anyone? 😉"

"The area and buildings were great, well maintained, great views, quiet at night, and close to everything. The covered parking was a plus, the cooler and beach chairs ,snorkeling gear was a bonus,,,thank you ! Personally I think the shower could have been cleaner, and also the floor,,first day I spilled water on kitchen floor and wiped with paper towel - ;( It was dirty… I did a little cleaning myself. All in all it was a nice place ~ we enjoyed what Maui had to offer ~ made a lot of memories, thank you again."
