The remote for the TV didn’t have batteries and the bedding and towels for the bathrooms were still in the drier and we didn’t find them until we were leaving. "I would not recommend reserving this property! We booked 30 days prior to our stay and received ZERO communication from the host. The day of check-in, I messaged them early morning inquiring about the check-in process since we were to check in at 4pm that afternoon. I heard nothing….until less than 3 hours from check-in time we received an email from Vrbo indicating “booking cancelled, unit not available”. Spent the next 6 hours trying to find an alternate place to stay over a busy holiday...

"This place exceeded my expectations! Pictures don't do it justice. The views of the river are incredible. The cabin itself is spacious and attractively furnished. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds, coffee station and fireplace. Christina was a terrific host and very responsive when we had questions. We're already talking about coming back in the summer to use the pool and canoe! The island would be stunning in any season!"

"Not a whole lot of food options. The staff was very accommodating in finding me somewhere to order food in and making a cup of meat to eat in the bar area. Bartender was amazing. Recommended Vino Verde, which was perfect for a warm day and what I had ordered for food. You brought me silverware and a plate, even though I had not ordered food from them"
