Staff were very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was terrific! Unfortunately, dinner was not available due to the bartender/chef leaving, which is unfortunate because there aren’t any restaurants in the immediate area. I had to DoorDash my food, which is okay, but I would’ve preferred dining in the hotel.
Staff very good. Room unique and nice.
Huge high ceilings, wonderful walk in shower, lighting in big bathroom very good. We enjoyed our stay and liked the room a lot. The staff was helpful and kind.
I really enjoyed staying at the Hyatt Place St. Paul/Downtown, it was clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast needs to improve but the coffee was good!
Huge and beautiful rooms. Good breakfast. Some USB port or charger port would help.

Disliked: Staff & service
The least Hyatt-like of any Hyatt ever. The room with high ceiling and huge windows (no view even on 5th floor) was nice enough, but the service was awful and breakfast was abysmal. Valet was MIA, front desk clerk in jean jacket, eating nacho cheese dip at the desk, barely made eye contact and the room type I prepaid for wasn't cleaned (checked in after 6 pm). Made us feel like an inconvenience. Apparently we interrupted her snack...
Pretty unique place old post office building staff were really friendly room was spotless cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in I will definitely come back
Clean and very spacious room, good breakfast, friendly staff at check out but not check in with different person, good food at the bar, friendly bartender and very nice ambience/lounge area, good location
Very large room with all the right amenities. It's a renovated old US Post Office building and nice to see how they remodeled it into a lovely hotel. The room had high ceilings and was really deep, so that there was room for a nice couch between the bathroom and the beds. Decent free breakfast spread that started at 6:30 am. It was quiet. Our room had a view out to the bus/train station and out to the river. Very convenient for closeness to the train station. We'd recommend it to our friends.
