Stayed here for a night on our Australia road trip, we were upgraded to a beautiful room with balcony overlooking the lake. The room was huge, with a shower and a jet bath which was amazing. The view was lovely, yes the room could do with some updating and tlc but for the price I can’t complain. The check in instructions on hotels.com are incorrect, there is a reception area and you don’t check in at the pub/restaurant but other than that great stay

A very clean, comfortable and welcoming hotel, conveniently located with friendly and helpful staff and a good restaurant. The hotel has a calm and relaxing atmosphere and rooms are well appointed and of a good size.Convenient for Newcastle Airport, Fightertown Museum, Nelsons Bay and Newcastle and surrounding areas. Easily accessed (but not too close) to Princes Highway.

In centre of port Macquarie so very convenient.

I was given a room with a balcony that had a fabulous ocean view. The location of thw hotel was fantastic. The room itself was basic but comfortable. Comfortable bed, clean spacious bathroom with a nice shower and plenty of towels. Reasonable price too. It ticked every box
