The staff were so helpful and friendly and the gardens on the property were incredible. Beds are smaller and harder than expected but we made them work. The only other thing that I didn’t care for was having to pay to use the pool. "The guesthouse was absolutely gorgeous and in a stunning part of Japan. We rented a car in Matsumoto and used the guesthouse as a base for visiting Kamikochi. The hotel is bright and cheery. The rooms are a generous size. The futons comfortable. Perhaps the best thing of all was the private onsen. The dining options around are a little limited- very few are open at night. There are more soba lunch options but we were out walking. We went to both Abbey Road and Springbank which were fine. "

"Wonderful first time stay in an authentic ryokan. Exceeded expectations. Decor is lovely. Food is delicious and served by attentive staff. Had a room with private inside and outside baths. Had never heard of a kotatso and it was so relaxing I didn't want to leave. Highly recommend."

"施設も清潔で趣もあって良かったし、スタッフの方もとっても感じ良かったので満足しました。
しかし、3組しか泊まっていないのに、3室隣り合わせで入れられてしまったのが残念でした。
一つおきにするとかしてもらえたら良かったなぁ。"
