Water front property with spectacular views.
This is an early 1900s waterfront farmhouse with lots of character and vintage charm. The glassed in-front porch allows you to kick back and enjoy the picturesque views of Mystery Bay in any weather. We have fast wifi and a blue-ray player. Three wonderful parks close by, two within one mile. We are 16 miles from the beautiful seaport city of Port Townsend, known for music, dining, art galleries, parks, etc. We are about 20 minutes to Port Ludlow and around 40 minutes to 7 cedars casino in Sequim. The house has two bedrooms in the main house with queen beds. The third bedroom is a converted utility room that is separated from the main house by the entry hall. It has a twin-size bed and a private 1/4 bath. The kitchen comes stocked with hopefully everything you might need to cook with, both a drip coffee maker and an espresso maker. I keep coffee, sugar, and dry creamer stocked. Fort Flagler state park is about 2 1/2 miles away and East Beach and Mystery Bay State Park are less than a mile. East Beach Park does not require a pass and is one of the nicest beaches around for walking and for kids to play in the sand. We are kid friendly and have a scavenger hunt with a small prize at the end. Olympic Kayak Rentals is located at Fort Flagler. They offer guided tours and offer kayak rentals for those that want to be off on their own. You need to check out their website to get more information. Marrowstone Winery has live music, and often food trucks on weekends during the Summer months. There are some picnic tables, and chairs if you get there early. Plenty of room for kids to play or to put out a blanket, kick back and enjoy the tunes. They have a variety of wines and nonalcoholic drinks to choose from.

This was our second stay at the Mystery Bay Farmhouse and it was just as wonderful as the first! Great location, amazing view, wonderful hosts. We had a relaxing stay with plenty of things to do and see during the day and comfortable place to come back to at the end of the day. Thanks again for sharing your lovely home.
The little farm house was a wonderful getaway for me and my two kids (12 and 17). Loved being right across from the water for the views and the ability to easily drop in our stand up paddle boards and explore the water. We also visited multiple state parks for hiking and hanging at the sandy beaches. The house itself was incredibly charming and had all we needed.
We love this authentic farmhouse. It is our second time here. Great for families, couples or a retreat for R and R. Well equipped, near State parks, beaches, history and trails.Lovebthe Nordland community and their general store. Thanks for another great stay!
Cozy property with plenty of space for you and your guests. It was a quiet, beautiful spot to spend the weekend and easy driving distance to Port Townsend and numerous state and county parks.
This was a wonderful place to stay during our trip from the East coast to the Northwest. All our family members commented on how much we liked the home and all its coziness.
Lovely old farmhouse with authentic charm and a sweet location in a great community. Deb and Dave are wonderful hosts-includes some some fun surprises!
This is such a tranquil and peaceful place. Enjoyed the scenery and the beautiful community. Cute co-op next door and what view precious wild life all around. Hope to visit again.
This was a great old house on a wonderful harbor, lots of history, plenty of nature, beautiful place on a beautiful island. The house was well stocked and a nostalgic trip back to a time that was slower and more peaceful.
Very well supplied home, responsive and thoughtful host, and tremendous views! We loved the sunsets on the water and the peaceful location. Our young kids enjoyed the goats next door, the scavenger hunt, and a whole basket of toys to play with. A really lovely experience!
We recently traveled to Marrowstone Island for our niece's wedding. We spent three nights at the cottage and enjoyed it very much. The house overlooks the bay and we saw a variety of wildlife from the sunporch. The home was clean and had everything we needed. It is a short drive to Port Townsend and an even shorter drive to the Finn River Cidery. There is also a nice little mercantile within easy walking distance of the cottage. I would definitely stay there again if we are back in the area!
The farmhouse was a perfect getaway from over busy lives. The home had every amenity you could ask for. Every spot we visited was a quick trip away. Deb was considerate to any needs and even check on us (via messages). We appreciate her kindness and the peacefulness of the farm house.
This property is just as advertised. Nothing in the house was worn out or broken. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed with well used, but high quality dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. The living room and enclosed porch are simple and plain, but really comfortable and enjoyable because of that. The view from the porch is spectacular. The location on Mystery Bay is really beautiful. We think we'd like to go back.
We enjoyed our stay at the farm house for three nights. The beds are good, it’s very quiet, and the view is amazing. We spent time in Port Townsend and on Whidbey Island. I wish we could’ve kayaked because the water looked so peaceful, but we did walk around in Mystery, Bay State Park. We also toured the Mystery Bay farm with the goats and their goat cheese making business. It is just up the road. Highly recommend the farm tour! Beautiful island and cozy property! We will come again.
We found this farmhouse to be an exceptional place to stay to get away from it all. Very clean with all the things you might need. Private, with a beautiful yard that's lovely to wander through. Beds were very comfortable. Views are stunning with lovely sunsets and lots of birds. Nordland General Store is right next door with a great selection of local food, wine and gifts. Excellent communication with the owners who are there to answer questions, or help with anything you might need. Overall, it was an wonderful stay and I hope to book the farmhouse again in the near future!
This is an old farmhouse with lots of charm. Deb & Dave make sure you are comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen and Wi-Fi setup and cell phone charging cords. The house is clean with plenty of fresh linens and towels. Our group had a great time. The front of the house showed waterfront views from every window and the backyard was lovely in the evening to eat, drink and be merry. My only suggestion is to have a more secure back door and lock; otherwise, it was lovely.
Great restored, well stocked comfortable farm house with magnificent water view. Deborah thought of everything and communicated well, no matter how small the request. Easy check in check out. Grest info card’s through out house. Within 5 min drive great vineyard with live music on Saturday evenings. Parks close. No need to drive into Port Townsend for some great eating spots. Would highly recommend
This is a cute older farmhouse. It was very comfortable, clean and well suited for 2 couples. The owner was friendly and accomodating. The location was perfect for our event, with a great view of Mystery Bay. The wifi worked great. The only problem we had, was not enough grounded (3-prong) electrical outlets in the house, they were mostly the old style outlets (2-prong). They work fine for most things, but we were trying to find some place to plug in a crockpot, while still leaving the coffee maker plugged in. We plugged it in on the floor in the living room and it worked out fine. Overall, we had a very nice stay and would stay there again!
Third stay at the farmhouse and loved it as much as the other stays! A true getaway that feels like youreon "island time". Comfortable, clean and cozy! Thank you for sharing your home!
