No utensils, power outage over night one whole night, power outage and water outage as a result, only a couple of mugs very obsolete and stained. No free bottled water despite the description.

Downtown Yerevan is a wonderful hotel with cozy, clean rooms. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and caring. During my 5 AM checkout, the night staff made a fresh cup of coffee just for me. It was a very touching gesture that made me feel at home. Big thank you!

There's a lot of value in this property. The location is great - you're across from a market which also exchanges currency, and a short walk from many wonderful restaurants and the Republic Square. The property is relatively small but this is a plus as there is a good ratio of staff to customers. For example, the laundry service lady responded in less than 5 minutes when I called the front desk requesting the service. Housekeeping was great too, always keeping the room stocked with water. The inclusion of a daily breakfast on their rooftop added convenience and a great place for our group who had multiple rooms to huddle to plan each day. Some of the down include noise when sleeping, weak air conditioning and worn decor. Rooms with balconies have doors that don't seem to seal shut, this might be a significant source of the street noise issues we experienced in multiple rooms. Room doors to the hallway have minimal sound insulation underneath. You can clearly hear through them in both directions. The rooms can also use a refresh - the lamp shades and the showers looked worn. Finally, the air conditioning struggled with the August heat and floor-to-ceiling windows. Bottom line, it's a good property with great staff that could use a light in-room refresh.

The location of the apartment was in central area very close to restaurants and shopping centres.
