"This large house worked well for a family gathering. The kitchen was well stocked and having the large dining table and space worked well. Loved the view from the huge windows. All the games were a hit with my grandson - especially the shuffleboard. The communication from the hosts was very helpful and clear. Made for a very smooth and fun vacation!"

"Very cute, cozy cottage. It was clean and well-kept. Very nice wraparound porch. The listing says that it sleeps 5, which I think it technically does, if you have four people who can share two double beds. And then I think there may have been a cot for a fifth person, though we didn’t look for it. I happened to read the reviews prior to going, so we knew beforehand to take an air mattress with us. Our two pre-teen/teen boys would not have enjoyed sharing a bed! So it’s very cozy, but we enjoyed it, and it definitely served our purpose well, which was having a nice place to stay and relax while visiting Mammoth Cave over a long weekend."

"This was a very well stocked home, with plenty of room for a large family, and tons of fun tucked away! Our family loved the popcorn maker and provided snacks during a game night and enjoyed the back yard fire pit another night. The kitchen had every tool and gadget you'd need to make a delicious meal, and a nearby local restaurant down the road (Bouy's) didn't disappoint when we didnt feel like cooking. The only down side was the distance to Mammoth Cave when the Green River Ferry was closed. (It took nearly an hour to get to the tours, rather than 30 minutes when taking the ferry.) Our daughter loved sitting in the porch swing and admiring the sweet little neighborhood.We look forward to returning in warmer weather to enjoy the near by lakes and kayaks!"

"clean room. Nice small space. Takes 45-60 to get to the caves unless the ferry is open so I would check on that before booking if your main interest is Mammoth cave itself."
