"Lovely cottage! We made a pit stop on our way home from traveling to see Mammoth Cave National Park. Everything was super clean and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the spa like experience in the bathroom. The lighting throughout has so much character. This place is well loved and it shows! Just minutes from the park. Host provided very clear information regarding booking and everything in the place (light switches, door locks, etc..) is marked clearly to avoid any confusion. We brought our dogs too. :). Highly recommend!"

"This little cabin worked quite well for our needs. It was clean, and had just the right amenities to relax with after a couple days of hiking/exploring the caves. We enjoyed the hot tub twice (it’s inflatable), and the TV/wifi worked great. Mammoth Cave National Park was about a 35min drive, no biggie. Check out was super quick and easy. Our only “issue” wasn’t with the cabin, but with the local cats and dogs. Our first night there, we struggled to get inside the cabin without letting one of two very eager cats in. Every morning and night the other cat would beg for our attention, waiting for us to open the door. When driving away each day, one local dog would chase our van down (sometimes more joined in). The cat situation did calm down a bit once they realized we wouldn’t be feeding them, and my husband assured me I wouldn’t hit the dog. Other than that, the cabin itself was a positive experience!"

"Whipsaw was quiet and back in the woods, which is just what we wanted. We would have loved to enjoy the beautiful porches more but the cool temperatures did not allow. We appreciated the very comfortable beds and crisp sheets and slept so good after long days of caving and exploring the area. The drive to cave tours was longer than we expected, but not terrible and a beautiful drive back through the national park or along the parkway. The home was moderately equipped -- would have appreciated a Keurig for convenience since only one of us was a coffee drinker. While the house was very clean, a quick swifter through hanging light fixtures and along tall ceilings to capture cobwebs and dust would be even better. All in all, we loved this home and location and would highly recommend staying here."

"We totally enjoyed our three nights stay at this cabin. The interior is beautiful, comfortable and has everything you need. The large covered patio with the hot tub is great, private and peaceful. We had no desire to leave for meals as we enjoyed cooking on the grill and hot dogs and smores at the fire pit. Loved that we could bring our dog Annie. The host was most gracious. We look forward to a return visit!"

"We had a wonderful weekend with beautiful weather while staying at the Wilderness Drive VRBO home. The home was VERY clean and had everything we needed. I think the owners did a wonderful job with equipping the house all the way down to stay-at-home entertainment with an abundant selection of games in the game room. The view was awesome from the outside deck which made for a great time just chilling out with our great friends!! I would definitely recommend trying this place out!! Also, while it seemed like it was in a very secluded area, we were just minutes from some great eating places!! "
