This is the best place I have ever stayed on a all nature trip The cabin tent was so cool to stay in. The staff was the best and food was unbelievable and so good. Got to see the animals in the evening on the property Please make it your next stay!!

Crocodile Bridge Safari is one of my favorite locations in the world. Steps away from Kruger Park across the Crocodile River. You can spot hippos and listen to them snort. Many times other animals are along the river as well. Unfortunately for us the recent floods closed the bridge and the entrance to the park. This meant we had to drive to another entrance. The food is fantastic, hearty breakfast and delicious dinners are included in the price. We stayed in a delux tent cabin and it was great, also air condition. Highy recommend

Absolutely loved this place. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Our tent had a river view and we woke up to the sounds of hyenas whooping and hippos grunting. They have a communal dinner where everyone was very friendly and we stayed up pretty pate around the fire socializing with everyone. Such a fantastic experience, we wished we would have booked more nights there.

Best Kruger Lodge Ever!! Can't wait to come back!
This place is the absolute best!! We loved our time here. It's right on the end of the park and the safaris we booked through the lodge were exceptional-we saw the big 5 every time and the guides were awesome spotters. Bruce and Ilse really make you feel at home and welcomed. We loved sharing stories by a fire every night and loved the home cooked delicious meals. When we go back to Kruger, we are 100% staying here and could not recommend it more!

Extremely nice people. It’s very family style where you eat together. Our bed was extra firm and couldn’t sleep well. The owners were nice and tried to see if a different room would have a softer bed but we elected to leave so we could be closer to the airport. They really tried to make us comfortable, we just like soft beds.

The place is amazing the setting the peace and quite the bush noises are amazing the animals come right up to the fence. The people are just amazing nothing is to much trouble. Would most certainly recommend it

Excellent location right next to the Park. 100 feet to the park. You can see wildlife from your room. Extremely friendly staff. Staying in a tent (with walls) in the wildness, like a camping experience.

Where else can you have a sundowner with an elephant herd and morning coffee with lions? I would definitely recommend this place to everyone! The owners have created a wonderful community that is very welcoming (even shared her curry with me!) and just outside the park but honestly, you can see so many things right from this camp! I watched hippos run down the hill to return to the water after being out all night and we had lion roars and hyena whoops to wake us up!

Bloody brill
This was excellent, we arrived late and all shops were shut but were able to get food and drink from owners. Our tents were first class with mozzie nets and spray just incase and comfy beds. Listened to hyena and lions in night and by 8am in morning had seen hyena, lion, elephant and more

Lovely setting, fantastic hosts
Fantastic and lovely place, we were welcomed the second we arrived by the Bruce and Ilse who help us settled and gave us a tour of the place. They are really generous people of there time and you could see they love what they are doing. The place in itself is in gorgeous setting just over the river separating the lodge to the national park. The tent we slept in was really clean and comfortable though the bed a little on the hard side. On the next days we met other people responsible of the place like Terri and his partner, and the owners who were all as nice and welcoming as Bruce and llse. I wish I could have had more time with them ´cause they are what the definition of hospitality should be. We loved diner setting with all the host and guess together. Dont change anything

Evening gatherings with hosts and other guests were fantastic. A wonderful opportunity to talk about the day we had and what we saw as well as great conversation.Elsa made delicious complimentary salads for everyone and home made bread each evening. All you needed was your meat and drinks to have an enjoyable evening meal.The position of the lodge was perfect for viewing animals from every deck.Crocodile bridge entrance to Kruger was almost at the doorstep.1 minute drive to the park entrance .Rooms beautifully kept.Definately recommend anyone looking for a place to relax,close to Kruger and self catering. Look no further.

Our stay at Crocodile Bridge has been absolutely fantastic. The owners, Bruce and IIsl are super friendly, extremely welcoming and really make you feel at home from start to end. Even prior to arrival IIsl was on hand to email me all the relevant information we needed about the accommodation and safaris that are available to book. This place really is a stones throw from Kruger, on the edge of river at Crocodile Bridge with amazing views into Kruger National Park. We had numerous visitors during the 5 nights that we stayed here, that included crocs, buffaloes, eagles, elephants, giraffes and to top it all off a huge family of hippos which kept us entertained for the whole time we were there. The accommodation is luxury tents and the standards are superb. They are super clean, extremely comfortable with double beds and mozzie nets, air conditioning, fridge and kettle. We also had constant hot water for a nice shower before and after safaris. We loved staying in our tent, hearing the animals at night really made us feel like we were outdoors with them. The owners are great hosts on hand every day and prepare the bbq for all the guests every night. The bbq are is a great place over looking the river and is a great place to sit and chat with the other guests after your visits in the park. What makes this place probably the best accommodation in Kruger is definitely the location, friendly staff and the owners hospitality.

Do not look further!!
Bruce and Ilse were amazing. They made the fire, salad, bead, ext. every night for no-charge - you only bring your meat and drinks. Nice atmosphere.

So close to Kruger it is easy to get an early start in the park. We could see hippos and cape buffalo right from our room. Nice pool, comfortable tent cabins with air. Communal braai in the evenings

The owners have made this an absolutely incredible experience. Animals will walk by directly across the security fencing. The rooms are appointed perfectly. The staff is exceptional! The community Braii was terrific. I can't imagine a more enable booking!!!!

Amazing experience...
First time glamping...perfect location, neighbors with the Kruger National Park. Amazing and very nice hosts; braai (barbecue) every night with everyone staying there. Great company with very diverse group of people from all over the world! Next time will bring my passport and enjoy a day or two in Maputo, the lodge is a couple of minutes drive from the Mozambique border!

We stayed at the Crocodile Bridge Safari Lodge for 3 nights during an excursion to the Kruger - and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay! The location was perfect; a stone’s throw from the Crocodile Bridge Gate into the Kruger, the view alone was stunning, but most of all the staff were accommodating, so very friendly and helpful and a joy to get to know. This is a little gem right by the Southern entrance to the Kruger Park. The hosts were very friendly and extremely helpful. They organise a communal braai (barbeque) every night, including salads and freshly made bread (guests bring their own meat). The well equipped self catering rooms face the Crocodile River. As we arrived we saw a herd of elephant and various antelope grazing right on the other side of the property's game fence. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we had more time there. I will definitely stay there again.

Great Braai!
The hotel has a small swimming pool and is ideally located for exploring Kruger. It is self-catering with a communal braai in the evening at which guests bring their own meat for cooking and the hotel provides accompanying salads and bread. The evening braais are definitely a highlight as well as seeing elephants, hippos, etc. passing by at close range.

Lovely tented lodge close to Kruger
Lovely, welcoming hosts and a clean and comfortable camp. Great evening bbq and salads- just bring your own meat or buy from the lodge. Tents have everything you need and there is always some action in camp with it being so close to Kruger- we saw and heard hippos, hyenas and elephants from the terrace. The lodge is just outside the Kruger so perfect for a visit to the park!

Magic stay on the banks of the Crocodile River
It was our third stay at the lodge and it fulfilled all our expectations, once again. Being so close to nature at the edge of the Kruger National Park is pure magic. One does not even feel like sleeping, due to the close-by night activities of game on the banks of the river. Hippos and elephants come right up to the boundary fence and sightings of rhinos, buffalos, crocodiles and water birds are common. The sunsets are spell binding, to say the least. The hosts welcome all guests like family. Socializing with other guests flows naturally around the evening fire and continues at the table, during evening meals. The complimentary home baked bread, salads and hot beverages were an added bonus and the cracious provision thereof was much appreciated. It is certainly a place you want to return to and one you want to introduce family and friends to. Thank you so much!

The location was great, the room was very comfortable and clean. Shower worked perfectly. It was amazing to be surrounded by nature, going to bed and waking up to its sounds. David and his wife were very helpful with me as I didn't have a vehicle. They were certainly one of the reasons why my first visit at the Kruger was so positive and a memorable experience.

Couldn't ask for a better location of Kruger. You are literally located 2mins away from Crocodile bridge gate. From your room you will see rhinos elephants and hippos all coming to drink from the river, it's amazing. The hotel managers were great, every night there was a braai with great side dishes, you provide your own meat and they provide the sides. The only Con is the owner Scott, he still may believe it's the 90s in south africa with some of his racial comments. Overall great place to stay and you will meet alot of great people from all over the world.

We stayed here one night after being inside Kruger for 4 days. It was a wonderful change to the awful condition in the SANPark accommodations inside Kruger. The room/tent had a wonderful view over Kruger and everything was excellent. The only complaint was that the Wi-Fi was not the best and the place was very loud due to all the animals (the last is not really an complaint, hearing the hippos and birds during night is something positiv in my book).
